1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by National Association for Scaffolding Lifting Equipment Malaysia (“NASLEM”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
‘Services’ means all professional and commercial activities provided by NASLEM under this Agreement, including but not limited to membership, training, consultancy, advisory services, inspection, assessment, auditing, technical support, system development, project management, maintenance, and any other related services.
2. Eligibility & User Accounts
Certain features (membership portal, training registration, downloads) may require account creation. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Accept responsibility for activities under your account
NASLEM reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
3. Registration and Confirmation
- Course/ Program/ any other registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
- The stated rates apply exclusively to training or services conducted at NASLEM’s premises or at venues authorised by NASLEM.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment Method: Full payment must be made prior to the commencement of Services via cheque or bank transfer to:

(National Association for Scaffolding Lifting Equipment Malaysia) - payment is processed via authorized third-party payment gateway(s) .
- All fees are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless stated otherwise.
- NASLEM is not responsible for gateway/system outages beyond its control.
5. Membership Payments
- Membership fees are non-refundable unless approved by NASLEM Management/Committee.
- Membership activation/renewal is subject to verification and approval.
- NASLEM may reject or revoke membership per NASLEM Constitution/By-Laws.
6. Training & Event Payments
- Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment
- Cancellation/refund policies (if any) will be stated per programme
- NASLEM may reschedule, substitute speakers, or cancel events where necessary
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- General: All payments made are strictly non-refundable. Confirmed services cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
- No-Show: Fees are non-refundable if a person fails to attend without prior written notice to NASLEM.
- Administrative charges may apply.
- HRD Corp Penalty: A charge equivalent to 10% of the payable amount shall apply for cancellations or postponements made within seven (7) working days of the training date.
- NASLEM’s decision on refunds is final.
8. Certification and Digital Policy
- Issuance Timeline: Certificates/cards will be issued within 14–30 calendar days upon full payment and successful course completion.
- Electronic Documents: In support of environmental sustainability, documents will be provided electronically. Hardcopies may be requested and will be subject to additional charges based on actual cost.
9. Insurance and Liability
HTA does not provide insurance coverage for participants. Any necessary insurance arrangements shall be the responsibility of the client/applicant.
10. Intellectual Property
All Website content (logos, publications, standards, materials) is owned by or licensed to NASLEM and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without written permission.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful/fraudulent purposes
- Attempt unauthorised access or disrupt systems
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
12. Third-Party Services & Links
The Website may contain links to third-party platforms (payment gateways, partners). NASLEM is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
13. Disclaimers
Information on the Website is provided for general guidance. NASLEM does not guarantee:
- Completeness or accuracy of content.
- That materials replace professional/site-specific advice.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NASLEM shall not be liable for:

Services/products delivered digitally (membership confirmation, e-receipts, certificates, downloads) will be provided electronically via email/portal.
20. Security Statement
NASLEM uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Payment transactions are encrypted and handled by certified payment gateway providers.
21. Force Majeure
NASLEM shall not be liable for failure/delay due to events beyond reasonable control (system failure, natural disasters, regulatory restrictions).
