Designer Member

Designer Membership

To qualify as a NASLEM Designer Membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a verified educational qualification relevant to their discipline (Civil).
  • Be registered with BEM as a Professional Engineer in Temporary Works (PETW).
  • Successfully complete a one-day Fundamental Scaffolding/ Lifting Course by approved NASLEM training centre.
  • Provide a sample scaffolding/ lifting design for verification purposes.

*NASLEM may request a sample of scaffold or lifting design for audit purposes during the annual membership period. Designers are required to carry out the design process in accordance with the NASLEM Design Management Plan.
