Client / Contractor Member

Client/ Contractor Membership

To qualify as a NASLEM Client/ Contractor Member, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Provide a valid company registration number supported by an SSM certificate.
  • Successfully undergo an initial audit and subsequent audits every two (2) years by appointed NASLEM’s auditor.
  • Company registered with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) – Register Pemberitahuan Tempat Kerja (PEMTK)
  • Maintain a record of no major injuries or fatalities within the last two (2) years. Failure to meet this requirement will result in transfer to the Apprentice Programme.
  • Demonstrate the capability to lead, participate in, or provide services for the installation, dismantling, and alteration of scaffolding/ lifting works.
  • Hold third-party certification to ISO 9001, issued by MS (Malaysian Standard), UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service), or another internationally recognized accreditation body.
  • If you do not yet meet the full requirements but are committed to achieving them within a reasonable timeframe, you may apply for our “Apprentice Client/Contractor” Membership Programme. Upon acceptance, NASLEM will collaborate with you to develop a step-by-step Development Plan that will guide and support your progress. This process must be successfully completed within two (2) years from the date of registration as an Apprentice Contractor, after which you will be eligible for full recognition as a NASLEM Contractor Member.

*The audit fees exclude accommodation and transport of auditor (Outside Klang valley and Sabah/ Sarawak)
